Multi-message signs are used for traffic management in temporary roadwork conditions. Where applicable, their designs are based upon guidelines issued by state road authorities in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia. Multi-message signs are manufactured from fluted material in a variety of sizes as outlined by the state guidelines. Multi-message signs are usually Class 1 retroreflective and used for temporary roadwork or traffic management scenarios. They are divided into a variety of sub-categories such as Advanced Warning, Speed and Regulatory, Road Conditions, Lanes and Positions, Diversion and Detours, Events and Activities, Pedestrian and Cyclist, or Termination and End signs. Temporary multi-message signs feature either text or symbolic pictograms, or in some instances, a combination of both.

Multi-message signs are usually manufactured in three main sizes – 600mm x 600mm, 1200mm x 600mm or 1200mm x 300mm. These sizes are designed to fit neatly within the multi-message frame and can be interchanged to suit the application. Queensland multi-message signs may also be produced from aluminium on request.

Heavy, Bulky and Over-sized Orders
Heavy, bulky or oversized orders must be sent via a courier and can incur different delivery charges. These charges are calculated based on the cubic size and weight of the item (or parcel) and the delivery location. An alternate option is Click & Collect, where you can collect the item from any of our five Heatleys branches.
At the point of placing the order, our customer service team will contact you to discuss the delivery charge that would apply to any such orders. At this point, you are able to opt-out of the transaction, and we can provide a refund. We only have a smaller number of items that would be deemed as heavy, bulky, or oversized and our customer service team will do their best to accommodate you.
Heavy, bulky, or oversized orders cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes, Locked Bags, Private Bags, Private Lockers, Parcel Lockers, or Parcel Collect Addresses.
Home & Trade Customers
As a Heatleys Home & Trade customer, you will receive free delivery on all standard orders over $150*. This only applies if the delivery location is within the Perth Metro area.
