How to Submit a Price Match Request in 3 Easy Steps

Short Terms and Conditions

To qualify for a price match, orders must meet a $2,500 minimum spend (ex. GST), involve identical products from authorised Australian dealers and include proof of the competitor's pricing (e.g., a formal PDF quote).

Exclusions apply for clearance items, special promotions, non-Australian or third-party sellers, contract customers, custom orders, or pricing errors. Contact your account manager for details.

Terms and Conditions:

Exclusive only to Heatleys' Business (HUB) Customers.

Guarantee Conditions:

  • Minimum Spend: A minimum spend of $2,500 (ex. GST) applies. Orders totalling less than this amount will not be eligible for price matching.
  • Like-for-Like Products: The product must be identical in every aspect, including brand, model number, and specifications. The product must also be available and in stock for sale to the general public in Australia, in the same location.
  • Supplied by a Major Supplier: The product must either be in stock or supplied by one of our major suppliers. Exceptions may apply—please contact your dedicated account manager for more details.
  • Compared with an Australian Authorised Dealer: The lower-priced item must be listed and available for purchase from an authorised Australian distributor or dealer.
  • Proof of the Lower price: An official PDF quote from the competitor must be provided at the time of the price match request. Requests without the required proof may not be considered. All proof must include:
    • Product SKUs
    • The competitor’s current pricing
    • The price must be verifiable and must meet all listed conditions.
  • Conditions of sale: The competitor's price must include all applicable taxes, fees, charges, and shipping costs to ensure a fair comparison. It must also be lower than our price on the day you notify us of the lower price.

 

Exclusions:

The following are not eligible for the Price Match Guarantee:

  • Clearance Sales: Prices for clearance, closeout sales, stock liquidations, seconds, second-hand goods, refurbished items, ex-demonstration, or display products.
  • Special Offers: Pricing based on special promotions, rebates, coupons, or membership-specific discounts (e.g., loyalty discounts or rewards programs).
  • Non-Australian Sellers: Prices from sellers outside of Australia or those not authorised to operate within Australia.
  • Third-Party Sellers or Auction Sites: Prices from auction websites (e.g. eBay), third-party sellers on marketplace platforms, or small privately owned businesses.
  • Current Contracted Customers: Business customers on a fixed-price agreement or contract with Heatleys Sales are not eligible. Contact your account manager to discuss your contract pricing.
  • Pricing Errors: Requests will not be considered if the competitor’s price or our price is an error.
  • Special Orders: Special or custom orders are excluded. Additionally, our standard returns policy for non-stocked products applies.
  • Event Credits: Price matches will not be considered where credits are already offered on Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, or Hitachi during brand-related roadshows or sales events.
  • Resellers: The Price Match Guarantee does not apply to resellers.
  • Payment Terms: Customers with a history of delayed payments beyond agreed trading terms may not qualify for price matching.
